Star Wars The Old Republic

So I started playing the new Star wars game a couple weeks ago and so far so good. This game is very fun and really draws you into the story. The graphics are wonderful and the landscapes are very cool. The combat and looting and basic things are about average as far as mmo's go. This game handles alot like world of warcraft but there are some differences of course. Space combat is a little arcade'ish but all in all pretty fun so far. It has the potential to stick around and give world of warcraft a run for its money. Personally I have quit playing every other game out there and just focused on this one for now. I havent gotten into the crafting and things like that just yet but will come back to update when I do. I would recommend this game to anyone that is sick of world of warcraft and looking for a similar game, or for anyone thats a mmo or starwars fan.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Ok so I rented Pirates of the Caribbean 4 On Stanger Tides and first off I have to say it was boring to me. In my opinion they should have stopped at 3 but they didnt. This story was stale and boring and the movie just lingered on and on forever. I would have bought it just to complete the set but found out that disney are forcing people to buy the blue ray combo pack instead of being able to just buy the dvd for $15 they want $25 for the combo which I personally have no use for. Anyways I guess its worth the watch just to say you watched em all but I wont sit through it ever again.

Battlefield 3

This game is your typical first person shooter. With that being said it is very pleasing to the eyes graphics wise. The game play is fun, exciting and feels like a real war going on around you. There are many vehicles to drive or fly around the map including jets, choppers, tanks, and boats. There are 4 classes to choose from being a medic, field ops, engineer, or sniper. The graphics and realism of this game are stunning and its been a blast to play. One downfall is I hear the campaign is kinda short but multiplayer makes up for it in my opinion. I would highly recommend picking this game up if you like shooters and mulitplayer.

Angry Birds Rio

Just like angry bird but this time with monkeys. This is a pretty fun lil game you shoot birds into things and kill monkeys. Anyone who has played angry birds will enjoy this one as well. They have new content every month which is a good bonus and makes the 99 cent price more then worth it. I would recommend this game to anyone with a smartphone that will play it.

Tron

Well I was kinda weary about watching this remake but was happy with the movie. The graphics and effects were great and entertaining. The story line was pretty good and kept me interested the whole time. All and all they did a really good job with this one and I would recommend anyone to watch it.

Battle LA

Well this movies was ok far as the action and story. The camera work on the other hand was very jerky, jittery, blurry and just plain annoying to me. Its like the whole movie they were trying to focus but couldnt which for me turned into a headache and my eyes we burning. Could have been 100 times better movie without the camera problems.

Rift

Well I have been playing Rift for nearly a month now and so far I been having fun. There is alot of talk about how its ripped off world of warcraft and stuff like that. There are tons of similarities only because most of these things have become the basics of mmorpg games like this. But coming from playing warcraft for 5 years or so and burned out on it Rift is a welcome change for me. Since its very similar its easy to jump right in. The feel is real nice control and function is great graphics are very nice change from the cartoonish style of warcraft. I would recommend Rift to anyone thats looking to replace warcraft or even just starting out. Thumbs up Trion!

Cataclysm

Well cataclysm has been out for a lil while now and over all its ok. They have totally revamped the entire game with new quests and new features. The end game content has shifted into a much more challenging experience so if your having trouble its only because you dont know how to play properly. The dungeons require alot more effort working together as a team to accomplish. Overall I guess I would say it pretty good addition to world of warcraft and renewed the game for people that are almost bored with it.

A-Team

Well I watched the new A-Team movie and I must say it was fantastic. 3 thumbs up for this fun thrill ride. It may not have all the same things as the original show but makes up for it with great action scenes and good time fun. I was very skeptical about this movie when I first heard of it but after watching it I had a change of heart. I really enjoyed every bit of the movie and everyone in it did a great job. I would highly recommend atleast watching this movie and advise buying it. Whats great about this movie is that even if you dont know about the A-Team its still an all around great movie.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

First I would like to say the graphics and detail in this game are stunning. The game play is fun and challenging. Being able to destroy a build down to rubble makes for exciting and interesting play. So far the single player mode has a good story line military missions nothing spectacular or different then any other shooter. The multiplayer proves to be very challenging for someone just getting into the game. Other then that this game fits right in with all the other fps games out there 10 times better then mw2. All in all would recommend this game to fps gamers 100% to people that dont spend alot of time with shooter games this one maybe a lil over your head. 8 stars

Clash of the Titans 2010

So I watched the new updated version of the classic Clash of the Titans. First I should start out with the fact that I grew up with the original so I expected something different going in. That being said I was slightly disappointed in the changes made to the story. I did however enjoy the movie for what it was. It was entertaining and worth my time to sit down and see it. It was action packed though out most of the movie. I really enjoyed the better tech behind the movie for special effects and things like that it was very good on that aspect. So this movie is worth watching not sure if I would put it on the buy list thought. People that remember the original prepare for a slight let down in the story changes. All and all I would give it a thumbs up.

Borderlands

Well I know this game came out in 09 but I was hesitant to go out and get it. I seen it advertised all over the place and the weird cartoon graphics threw me off for a while. I have recently got a chance to play the game and love it. It is a shooter combined with a rpg type system where you work for higher levels and better loots. There are so many guns in this game its retarded crazy I think they say couple hundred thousand or so. The game play is fun and rewarding the storyline is decent. I have put in some hours already and plan to play it for some time. Im sure there will be a point when I got everything I want and have experienced everything it has to offer. But that is the fate of all games I think. So until then I will play and buy any expansions they have to offer and strongly suggest it to anyone reading this.

Well as of now due to networking problems in my home Im not really able to do a proper review on this. But so far from the little bit of time I had to look it over Im impressed on how it works and one of my friends that got it says it plays like a dream. As soon as I am able to get my network straightened out I will do a video and post a new review on the performance of the system. Im still really excited about this and hope it meets my expectations. So I see that the stimulus package is up for pre-order on steam store. Well now if that isn't a kick in the nuts. First off I spend $120 on the game for PC and 360. Then they take any means of keeping the hackers out and now we are stuck with frozen or fast servers glitching out any fun this game might have had. And now they have the nerve to make us pay for the map pack? Im calling bs on this one screw you Im not paying for another map pack after I already bought it on xbox. My disappointment in this game is through the roof! I will not nor promote Call of Duty games in the future I was my hand with the whole franchise. Shoulda saved my money for Bad Company 2.

Dante's Inferno Review

Ok well I spend the weekend playing this game off and on. So far I have made it to Gluttony the third circle of hell. And so far the game play is fun and exciting kinda like God of War. There is tons of action and they throw in puzzles to find you way through some spots. Now there is lots of nudity so parents might not wanna get this for you kids. But the storyline is interesting and keeps you guessing. But over this is a very fun and entertaining game I would highly recommend you pick this up if you like these types of games. Also the idea of hell they set in this game is highly creative and disturbing but interesting at the same time. All I can really say is this game is well done and fun cant wait to get further into it.

Modern Warfare 2

Ok so I got modern warfare 2 for pc and so far its killer game. Only draw back is being used to pc gaming I expect to see a list of servers to choose from. In this game there is no list its all random and from what I can tell no way to stop the hax. Plus you just get thrown into games and if you dont like that map you either sit and play it out or leave and it count as a loss towards your stats. Other then that the graphics and physics are wonderful. This game is alot of eye candy for you graphics junkies. Cool weapon tech involved in this game and lots of perks. I would give this game a solid 8 of 10.
